The Minutes of the New Temple of Horus of the Golden Dawn in Bradford

October 1983 Press Cutting

There was a toast to The Lord Horus. Then there was a toast to Mr Thomas Henry Pattinson, who ran the original Temple of Horus of the Golden Dawn in Bradford in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Then we must reflect upon the Sign of Horus which is 'Silence' that is do not say too much, 'If In Doubt, Say Nowt (nothing)' - however, conversantly, do not let others shut your mouth if you have something to say, for it is for them to be silent and not you. Do not hide your light if it is time for that light to shine, as the beacon of a lighthouse guided ships away form the rocks.

We fed Mother Earth with food and wine, as you should do from respect at any ceremony.
